MEMBER UPDATE

August 5, 2008

2008 SALARY AND BENEFITS SURVEY IS ON-LINE

The Texas CEC Salary and Benefits Survey is on-line and access information is being distributed to member firms this week.  The final report will provide information on a variety of engineering, surveying, technician, administrative, marketing, management and other positions in Texas offices of firms.   Where the data are adequate to allow it, information is reported by metropolitan area.

Firms that participate in the survey by providing information on their Texas office will be charged $175 and will receive the final report around the 1st of October.  The report will be available to nonparticipants for $750 but not until after February 2009.

Access information (website address, user ID, and password) will be sent to our main contact in each firm (and to the Human Resources coordinator, if known to us) by Friday.  If you do not receive the access information, or if you wish to have the information sent to a particular person in your firm, please contact Michael Hancock at mike@cectexas.org or 512.474.1474 ext. 2.

Responses to the survey will be due Friday, August 29.
