The Harris County Public Infrastructure Department (HCPID) contracted with an engineering firm to provide preliminary, design, and construction phase engineering services for a new 460 ft. 6-lane bridge over Cypress Creek with a four-lane, concrete curb and gutter roadway. This firm was specifically selected for this project because of its extensive knowledge of Cypress Creek and its watershed, our hydrologic and hydraulic expertise, our structural abilities and our successful past performance on difficult projects. |

| The design was particularly difficult because Cypress Creek is a protected waterway and cannot be widened, realigned, slope paved, or otherwise changed from its natural state. The firm successfully completed the complicated watershed analysis, and provided a bridge and roadway design that has minimal intrusion to the creek, wetlands and the surrounding neighborhoods. | ![]() |
